Join us for a week of Complete Retreat in one of the most spiritually elevated places in the U.S.! Crestone is considered one of the chakra points of our country, like Sedona or Mt. Shasta. Situated in high alpine desert, the vista spreads out before you in beauty and majesty. Experience the Great Sand Dunes, natural hot springs, exquisite views, hiking and, of course, plenty of yoga sadhana and joyful connection, sharing, singing and dancing in our community of women. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE EXPERIENCED IN YOGA! For the first 3 days we will stay at the HUA ashram with the Temple of the Divine Mother that I have been going to for 8 years, living the life of devotional bliss and karma yoga, selfless service. For the next 4 days, we stay at the Zen Center concentrating on our workshops, and exploring the wildlife and time together in this exquisite sanctuary. Stay at the off-the-grid HUA Ashram, with it’s beautiful temple dedicated to Divine Mother, where we will participate in the daily life of Sanskrit prayer, chanting, fire ceremonies and Karma Yoga (selfless service). Wednesday, August 1 – 5
Stay at the Crestone Mountain Zen Center where we will practice Tantra-Yoga and meditation daily in their beautiful, domed “Dharma Sangha”. Half-way up the side of the mountain, this center has an amazing view and well-known for it’s succulant meals. We will participate in a Zen meditation, as well as go out each day to the hot springs, sand dunes, hiking and visiting other spiritual sites. We’ll see hundreds of thousands of bats on their nightly exodus. We leave on Aug. 5 unless you choose to stay on longer… always an option.
